I've never met a libertarian who openly said gays shouldn't marry but I've met plenty who would equivocate about "letting the states decide", which is functionally identical to banning it. Honestly the only libertarian I've met who wasn't a crypto conservative was my old boss, who was a weirdo libertarian ex hippie who thought the government should be out of the marriage business, but that wasn't going to happen any time soon so give gays the right to marry.
