The Rupert Sanders Snow White film is an extremely underrated tribute to 1980s fantasy - along the lines of The Neverending Story, Excalibur, Willow, and so-on.

It had some great enchanted forests, if that's what you look for in a movie, and I loved how they went full sword-and-shield fantasy battle for the climax. Cool dwarves too.
