loving finally. Somehow I managed to miss your ME LPs for half a year, and it took a while to catch up. I had to skip the drinking games, I'm pretty sure I'd die from alcohol poisoning if I marathoned that, too. :v:

I'm pretty sure you can make this by putting chocolate, raspberries, and a shitton of sugar in a blender and adding some ethanol to it. :v:

I like the bartriarch.

Also a lot of your companions suffer from cut scene overpowerment in this game.

To be fair, they are supposed to be the best the galaxy has to offer, second only to Shepard.

I find it funny how due to the nature of internet outrage, I know everything I never wanted to know about how ME3 ends, and what happens to a few characters because they run into that one character literally nobody likes, but I'm almost completely unspoiled about ME2 (and before the LP, ME1), other than knowing that these characters are somewhere in the game, which gets weird when some of them get revealed. :v:

Lair of the Shadow Broker sounds fun.

As for the loyalty mission, how about Whatshisname's? Maybe it'll give him some actual characterisation?

Now I feel bad for voting for this mission. :( I did not see this coming, I thought it would be something hilariously bland.

Octatonic posted:

A million years later, and I've got the same reaction to this mission: gently caress this mission and gently caress the oh-soedgy dunces who wore it.

Yeah, it's edgelordy as gently caress and I kind of want to ask the writers what the hell they were thinking.

Bonus sensitivity points for giving the "man can't handle power and succumbs to barbaric impulses, turning into a tribal warlord and raping all the women" role to a black character.

You can't just one-shot a paranoid biotic, as Liara demonstrated to the assassin. And in these circumstances, one shot is all Shep would have gotten.

My brother had a chance to talk to an old mathematician who survived "stick teens in a freezer" experiments in WW2. The amount of incompetence and pointlessness involved in the whole affair was apparently surprisingly comparable to that shown by Cerberus here.
