Cautiously optimistic for this, but recent gameplay videos have reduced my excitement rather than increased it. Also this whole "City of Glass/Cascadia Prime" thing makes me think I might live in this game's city

The Walrus posted:so wait, the one game where climbing towers to get access to the map might actually be fun, and it`s the one ubi game where that doesnt happen? lol There is "billboard hacking" which is the same as tower climbing.

Do they ever explain why Faith's last name is Connors? She doesn't look half white.

Just wanted to say I like this game and people should pick it up since it's on deep discount these days ($50 off in IRL Cascadia ).

BeanpolePeckerwood posted:Sup fellow IRL Cascadia goon playing virtual Cascadia game Weird that the map on the web site looks exactly like southeastern Australia though. Sorry if this is a well known thing but I lived in Sydney before Cascadia so it immediately stuck out. edit: also is it safe to assume I can do sidequests etc after the main story with my upgraded character? Just finished the story. Fighting those last two sentinels was the only time I really hated the combat. Every other time was ok. Plot was a huge wet fart at the end, not too horrible by video game standards before that. My expectations were so low that I ended up enjoying myself and might try to do all the side missions. gently caress time trial stuff though.

I sold the game to a goon after seeing how disappointing the side missions were. Definitely was still worth $30 Cdn though.
