The sequel is kind of a dissapointment, unfortunately. But yeah considering they forgo texturing for many things to increase performance and stuff like that, it's very playable and you don't get that "oh god this looks horrid" effect. Still a very very fun game. Setting up multiplayer on anything but a LAN is a HUGE hassle but if you can get it running it's awesome fun. ninjaedit: one thing that I really like about Interstate'76 is that all of the cars are prettyclosetoreal cars, not some silly Kombat Kars stuff. shinmai fucked around with this message at 19:29 on Apr 28, 2016

mister magpie posted:looks a lot like twisted metal The basic concept isn't too different, but the actual gameplay is very different imho. twisted metal is very arcadey, i76 has sort of a "chill simulation" feel to it. Like Mechwarrior but with classic cars and the  turned down a tad.
