The best answer is #5, but even if the engine is somehow up to it, something tells me the brakes, tires, and hantavirus might be a bit more trouble. There is a big auction in edmonton, alberta in a few days, and a pile of that stuff heads south into the states through montana, so in the next couple weeks there should be a ton of half loads that might make it cheaper. You could try Uship, or give some of these companies a call directly. https://www.rbauction.com/heavy-equipment-auctions/edmonton-buyer-services

Just prioritize getting it moving, and if you can get it to stop, that's icing on the cake.

The Locator posted:Charging to take your luggage with you is one of the dumber things about air travel these days. I understand charges for something like your box of tools, but gently caress me, include the price of my damned clothes in the price of the ticket you cock-gobbler airline douchebags. it gets dumber than that, because they say airplanes these days are flying around with the cargo holds at ~37% capacity. It's so bad they're trying to figure out how to put people in there. Some airlines are even starting to charge for the overhead bins, with your only free luggage space being under the seat in front of you, or for someone over 5'4, your footroom.

You can get 2JZ stuck to autos out of aristos pretty much everywhere for cheap. You can also get 8.3 cummins or 7.6 international DT466s pretty much everywhere for cheap too.

ExplodingSims posted:I kinda like the sound of the DT466. Do you have some info on it's general dimensions? It's not much longer than a 5.9 cummins. some guys have stuck them in regular pickups. they range from early 165hp/500ftlbs mechanical fuel injection all the way up to 300hp/800ft/lbs common rail. I got a bus with one and an allison trans in it for $2500 and it gets that thing moving in a hurry.

The 444 is the 7.3 powerstroke, and is huge. There's a guy who put one into a 48 by cutting the truck in half and welding a strip in the middle https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GowJeGcf_Kk
