I Grey Hunter, Oath for this first month of the new thread - "Goonville" - a 3mm Scale village made up of 10 interchangeable sections, and 96 6mm WWI German Soldiers (who are about to occupy it.) by Baccaus Minitures. The village is going to be an interesting one to do, as I'm most likely going to be using wall paint for most of it.

Yeah, I've got a nice selection of tester pots, so I'm going to be using them and cheap store acrylics to cover the bulk of it, then I can switch up to the more expensive stuff for fine details.

Oath Complete! Phew. That was a hard one! but Here is a veritable mountain of models! First up, the Praetorian Snipers.  With an In battle shot - here they are winning me a game by three unit points (out of 1,500) a few weeks ago!  My terrain project is over a foot high, so doesn't fit into my light box! claiming Would July-ke to paint some terrain, my Lord?  Now lets head into 'Nam. the VC are massing for action it seems.  So lets send in a platoon of boys. - for #SquadGoals  Here are the casualties, the extra US grunts and the objective markers.  Of course, I need to get them into action. So lets have some Choppers!     None of you buggers better fail an oath of a single model, let me tell you! Also, can I claim Its a rescue for the Hueys? They were an ebay purchase, but I think they look good for Pencil sharpeners!

Oath Complete! Here is the command squad and Medic I can't use the second medic, so I've made them up as casualty/wound markers for FoW Vietnam! I'm also planning on using my two "Hal Mores" as FO's for the big guns off map. Recycling!   1st and 2nd Platoons - now all I need to do is paint three times as many NVA soldiers!

With Dropfleet taking a while to ship, I better give up on the hope of getting it in a reasonable time and crack on. I Oath for October one NVA Battalion HQ & one NVA Weapons company (including three MG bunkers.) - 15mm by Battlefront. 71 minis total.

Oath Complete! Ho! Ho! Ho Chi Min is going to win!   I got a little worried about completing this oath when everyone in the house got sick, but I got there. That's two companies of NVA troops.  Plus change based for FNG, as apparently Battlefront have no idea what quality control is - 12 of these guys are the alternate RPGs, but that doesn't give any idea where the the other 16 men - half a bloody platoon! - came from. of course, this means I now have to buy more NVA to get the FNG platoon up to full strength- but I needed to get some civilians anyway.  Not wanting to give the Communists all the fun, here is the Skyraider - a simple model to paint, but the transfers really set it off.
