HOW CAN I FOLLOW THIS? The cable networks should be covering it. Watch CNN or Fox News here: http://www.stream2watch.co/live-now/live-tv/us/ Watch MSNBC here: http://www.livenewschat.eu/politics/ Results can be found in these places before they appear on cable http://www.nytimes.com/elections/results (reliable) http://www.decisiondeskhq.com/ (cheats by reporting results before they're official, tends to get slower toward the end) You can also live chat about it with other political goons in our IRC channel (LINK FINALLY FIXED): https://client00.chat.mibbit.com/?server=EU.synirc.net%3A%2B7001&channel=%23Poligoon NARRATIVE Indiana is the most important state left in the primary. Despite being unpredictable because it's simultaneously midwestern (Cruz country) and rust belt (Trump country), polling has been sparse until recently. Trump needs to win it to (practically) guarantee a win on the first ballot. If he loses, he could still get ratfucked. The few polls showed Trump with a somewhat narrow margin, the kind he can lose when he underperforms like he infamously did in Iowa. But Cruz's campaign has had a palpable air of desperation that may be turning voters off, maybe best exemplified by his decision this week to choose a running mate, the second least-liked presidential candidate after himself, as a hail mary to get media coverage and Indiana voters at all costs. Unfortunately for him, the media is treating him more and more antagonistically and condescending. Then just a couple days before the contest a bombshell poll dropped by an A-rated pollster showed Trump with a double-digit lead. Does El Rato have any hope of stopping the Trump train? Tune in and find out. SCHEDULE Polls open at 6am ET/CT and close at 6pm ET/CT. Although a portion of the state is in CT, the majority of the polls are closed by the time indicated ET when the networks feel they can project. CONTEST TECHNICAL INFO Type: open primary, the best kind for Trump. Delegates: 57 Allocation: Winner-take-all per district and for the at-large delegates. So Trump needs to win each individual district as well as the state, same system that Wisconsin and Maryland had. CANDIDATES Jewel Repetition has issued a correction as of 20:44 on May 2, 2016 |

Trump was just listing off people who dropped out, and when he got to Bush he was compelled by some undeniable force to interject "low energy."

DISTRICT REPORT (This matters for delegates) The only district with any counties favoring Cruz is the 3rd, but Trump is winning there by thousands of votes. The 5th district, thought to be Cruz's most favorable, has no counties where he's not losing. Trump is on track to win every delegate in Indiana.
