After getting the SomethingAwful Cards Against Humanity crew back together for some serious hilarity, there has been a specific card that keeps coming up. And it involves one of the most perfect movies of made in the 90s...

Space Jam is a 1996 American live-action/animated sports comedy film starring basketball player Michael Jordan and featuring the Looney Tunes cartoon characters. The film was produced by Ivan Reitman, and directed by Joe Pytka, with Tony Cervone and Bruce W. Smith directing the animation. Nigel Miguel was a basketball technical advisor.[2]

Released theatrically by Warner Bros. under the Family Entertainment label on November 15, 1996, it includes an alternate story of what happened between Jordan's initial retirement from the NBA in 1993 and his comeback in 1995, this time with him being inspired by events including Bugs Bunny and his friends. Space Jam opened at No. 1 in the US and grossed over $230 million worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing basketball film of all-time.

Seriously, check out this sweet theme song.

Like seriously, how do they explain one rabbit being naked and one being clothed for some reason?

Also explain Porky Pig. You can't.

Officially the title of the original song is "Whoomp! (There It Is)"

But hoop there it is is an appropriate adaptation for a space jam

The title track is pretty slammin' and I like the idea of the movie but it's not a very good movie, and the 90's were a weird time where everybody wore oversized shirts with Tweety and Taz wearing basketball clothes. I'm convinced they only made that movie because of the popularity of Looney Tunes merchandise where the Looney Characters are playing sports.

I owned a shirt that had Bugs and Taz (I think) and they were dressed up like Kris Kross. The front of the shirt had them from the front and the back showed their backs.

Space Jam exists because of a Nike ad campaign featuring Michael Jordan and the Looney Tunes characters

Also you should watch the original cartoons from the '40s and '50s, they're really good and not terrible like Space Jam

Well yeah, everybody who's anybody knows that.

Also Quackbusters is a loving classic. It's like 90% old Looney Tunes/Merry Melodies shorts so that goes without saying though.
