I tried to play Halo (1) on Legendary a couple of months ago out of a vague desire for completion, I mean, how hard can it really be, then I stopped after I'd been playing for 2 hours and barely made it away from the landing site. Didn't help that I hadn't played Halo at all for years but even so.

Though I still have it down to animated 2D a lot of the time for battery reasons.

I gave up after the third episode, not because it was bad, but because it was sort of wasting that premise with the most boring comedy/ drama clichés. There were cute moments here and there, so it might be worth watching if you can stomach how "by the numbers" the story gets. I think a lot of people disliked the first episode stuff because it was really overdone. But yeah, it didn't 'pay off', if you wanted it to, either way.
