It might be impossible in the first one, I've only played the first one once, but it's really not that hard to do in the second, run with small groups of pikmin to make microing easier, use purples to kill and stunlock most big guys, and just keeps some sprays handy and don't be afraid to use them.

i don't think there's any point in the first game where it forces you to kill a pikmin. but it would still be extremely hard

metroid: zero mission. i used to play it so much that i did multiple 100% collection runs in one sitting. i eventually got down to under 90 minutes with 100% collection rate.

Zero mission is the perfect game for this style because even if you're not very good you can beat it in like 2 hours, which is an afternoon, and then from there you just keep doing it again and again. I played it all the time because we would visit family in Pennsylvania on the weekends a lot and the drive was about 2 - 3 hours and I would beat zero mission each way. Sometimes 3 times if I had a killer run.

I used to play super metroid once a month or more but I never got good enough at it to call myself great. My best any% was 0:48.

Evil Eagle posted:Wait.. I thought that mgs1 had required kills. It does. I mean besides that. You can only get the big boss rating for getting no kills or alerts outside of that and finishing in like 3 hours I believe

For Metal Gear July II I wanna see how fast I can beat the game if I use the stealth camo to run directly to each boss and then skip every cutscene and codec call.

oh yeah im probably one of the best at mgs5 too. i realise FOBs arent an indication of skill but nontheless i was as high as rank 130 in the world at one point. im also on a few n++ leaderboards. and ive also done a final fantasy 9 minimum level run, which is extremely hard.

I got top 50 on one MGSV mission but the next time I checked I slipped immensely. That was probably the best I've felt at a game in a long time though (no traced voices in record time)

I was briefly in the top 20 players worldwide for XCOM: Enemy Unknown multiplayer in its first couple weeks of release. I played a huge amount of it on a rental and got great with the Ethereal before they patched it out.
