As a support player I find it kind of strange how Nami has returned to the opinion of pros as one of the best general ranged utility supports but the reason she fell out of the meta a long time ago originally was because of insane mobility creep made it almost impossible for her to land bubbles and setup plays. Who does Nami bubble on this NRG team? They have a ton of highly mobile targets, escapes, stealth, etc. Also she's not durable at all, she's worse on disengage than Braum, Janna, etc. I just hate seeing this generic Sivir / Nami lane over and over from several teams, and I don't think they actually have good synergy, Nami is much better buffing up a lane bully than a utility carry. Also 6.11 Ryze picks is just

Worlds should definitely have an increased prize pool or do like Valve and sell compendiums or esports icons or skins or something and donate those to the prize pool. The prize pool was insane back in like 2012/2013 but it looks paltry as gently caress now, especially considering the scope and success of both the game and the competitive scene.

Just make it so that no team can have more than two players from any region other than their home region, with no grandfathering or whatever. If you want to have two Koreans in Mid and Jungle, a Chinese bot lane, and Fredy122, and you want to stick them all in a house in Las Vegas with Saintvicious coaching while they argue in three languages about who can obtain the highest calorie food the quickest in between scrims, you should be able to. Plus that would have saved us from the atrocity of TSM Yellowstar last split.

JAG/SKT Game 1 and Game 3 were two of the worst Faker games I've ever seen in my life. He cost his team badly at least 3 times in both games by going way loving ham with no information on enemy locations and getting pasted. Really uncharacteristic of him. JAG played great too. Was a fun series to watch.

There were a gently caress ton of games this weekend, my god. I just caught up with the NA LCS highlights. It really is the most competitive the region has ever been, the matches are higher quality than they've ever been as well. I feel like I've completely turned from an EU LCS fan to an NA LCS fan. European games have been really awful this split.
