So how are people buying this game? Because Nintendo as per tradition seems to be making it a confusing hassle.

No pre-load, doesn't show up in the Wii U store and Amazon only has "codes" for sale but who knows when you'll get it.

Is there any word on when the game unlocks for digital downloads? Has anyone bought a code on Amazon, if so is it redeemable now or do you have to wait?

Playing on Wii U and although you can tell the system is chugging at times it really hasn't effected gameplay. Looks great too.
