Chris Coltrane was good last year, think he's part of the free fringe again this year.

Is the idea not that a Scottish Six would still report on (for example) the latest UK-wide economic meltdown, but with more of a focus on how it would affect people in Scotland and without 15 minutes of Tarquin from Surrey moaning about how this means he might have to sell one of his summer houses?

Or am i being too hopeful here?

It's not the best question, asking how satisfied people are with the person's performance as leader of their party.

I'm not a Tory, but I'm very happy with Ruth Davidson's leadership of the party, as she continually advocates policy positions that show the electorate that the Conservatives are still a shower of cunts.

I doubt the poll had room to explain that though.

How are the council elections looking where everyone is? I'm in a new ward this year, and don't really know much about the candidates - only had leaflets from the SNP and an independent, who I realised is my bf's neighbour.
I've only had one leaflet, from the local Labour candidates. Who on one side pledge their continued support for local services, and use the entire other side to say that Scotland doesn't want a 2nd referendum. Regardless of the truth or otherwise of that, I hardly think the SNP's constitutional plans will be derailed by the crushing electoral steamroller of South Lanarkshire Council.

7 folk stood in my ward, 2 each of Labour and SNP, and 1 each of Tory, LibDem and Green.

The three seats will almost certainly go to some combination of Labour and SNP only.

Natalie McGarry jailed for 18 months for embezzlement.

Her young child will now spend a year and a half being raised by a Tory. Is it really fair to punish a kid like this for their mother's crimes?
