Some thoughts Sisko fights like Kirk in DS9 season 1. Gates McFadden is friggin gorgeous in First Contact. Nana Visitor is the best part of DS9 season 1. JJ Enterprise isn't really that bad, eagerly looking forward to the JJ Ent-A though. Proper warp nacelles are placed above the saucer section.

Big Mean Jerk posted:But since this is Star Trek, that comet will be a Trojan horse for some obscure TOS race that's now threatening the federation and only Picard, Janeway, Ezri, and Chief Engineer Wesley can stop it. I read one of Shatner's the one where he brought Kirk back to life via the Borg or something? It was so bad it wasn't even memorable.

DS9 2x15 - the one where they beam down and nothing works because the crazy lady has a jammer or something. So they solve the problem and get ready to leave and OF COURSE nobody wants to leave because 10 years of primitive life and no medicine or anything is totally worth sticking to. UGH.

This is like, 45 minutes after yet another person died horribly. And complaints aside, Odo really is the best Trek character ever.

Part of what brought me to SA was the strong Trek fandom in the GBS thread.
