I would really love to eat some broccoli right now but I don't have any :smith:

What are your experiences with broccoli? The word sounds a bit like the name of a virus or bacteria.

Some additional information about broccoli:

quote:

Broccoli is a plant, Brassica oleracea. It is a vegetable similar to cabbage. Broccoli has green flower heads and a stalk. It comes from Mexico and is one of the most bought vegetables in England.

My experience with broccoli is great, especially in the time I made this thread months ago.

But no hate brother. We love the same. Consider keeping a bag of frozen florets in your freezer for those cravings

I have a weird memory from my childhood of sitting alone in our den watching reruns of Bonanza while eating spinach while the rest of my family was in the family room doing stuff that was probably a lot less queer.

If you get it fresh-picked it it's great, if you buy it and it sat out for any time at all it just tastes like dirt.

There are like 30 really good green vegetables at the asian market, I don't know what the gently caress they're properly called and I don't care. You can just pick anything with leaves and stems at random and it's good.

The inside of the broccoli stem is like crack, it's a good thing to start picky kids on when they do that gagging thing with vegetables and you know their parents hosed up. Chayote is good for that too.
