I like the comparatively wimpy sound of the plasma gun compared to the heavy assault rifle since it makes the plasma gun seem like a flashy, new, over designed weapon made to wow investors.

If you didn't like Fallout 3 Alexey, you won't like Fallout 4. Even if you did like 3 you might not like 4. I wonder how many features Bethesda is going to steal from DOOM when they make Fallout 5? Well if Fallout 5 has glory kills, you heard it here first.

Similarly, there seemed to be surprisingly little sound or feeling of impact on a few of the glory kills too, namely the ones where you just punch a demon hard enough to make it explode. Maybe there's some sort of noise compensation in the suit that prevents Doomguy's eardrums from bursting every time he fires the guns?
