So if you play one week you'll never see Asylum, but maybe the next week it will be up all the time.

Destiny is probably the most egregious AAA title I've ever seen when it comes to lack of assets and asset reuse, ffs they just spent an hour streaming about a new sparrow, another batch of enemies built on slightly modified existing assets, and a "new area" that's the old area with snow and hosed up boxes and crates.

Yeah UR should be worked with to make it more like NLB in that there's a massive skill ceiling and even then there are unavoidable downsides. A one shot mag or reload on shot change probably isn't enough to gimp it appropriately. Maybe disable slide? Add a melee delay? Give us our grenades, DoP and TLW back?

Lol shotguns take mad skill in high level play. Timing, positioning, radar use, map knowledge. If shotguns take no skill then how am I able to kill so many shotgunners with my shotgun? Bungie has made it easier to shotgun people using their primaries, I'll give you that. But tbf it's always been pretty easy to snipe people using their primaries, but hard to snipe a good sniper.

Bungie has updated their profile poo poo so that now you can set your in-game emblem as your bnet avatar for their forums and poo poo. Everyone go to your profile settings on bungie.net and set your flawless, scarab, or best of all, bungie bounty emblem as your 'tar over there (it seems like it won't take effect for me until the server maintenance stops, so let me know if you can actually update it now and the change shows!!!!)

Still a 3 burst on anything but the lowest armor, honestly nothing in the pulse rifle world is better than the vendor Hawksaw, except for some rare rolls on grasps and Hawksaw/pdx45/Aegis, and even then the improvement is probably marginal or a sidegrade.

The thing that helps is realizing that primary and secondary are just dumb names you should ignore and you should focus on grabbing and securing greens so you can use that ammo. I know I'm in for a sweaty banner match when the first greens spawn in and the middle ones are subject to contested pushes

Shores of Time is actually balanced when played by two decent teams, if not a bit boring. It's just a map where the control points are incidental to the area you need to control, rather than the typical opposite. The thing with that map is that a coordinated team can absolutely smash randos unless the randos are all solid on getting and anchoring the back C boat. It's probably a map that played well in testing when the two teams had an equal understanding of how to play it, whether it was absolutely no understanding or perfect understanding. Chances are this was always the case.

Nirwen's hits for 29/19 so you can't 2 burst anything but the lowest of armor guardians. No one good runs lowest armor. The Nirwen's Saladin is selling is a sweet gun, and it's probably my new daily driver for PvE stuff, but you're gonna run up against the inherent limitations of the mid impact pulse rifle archetype once you start playing dudes who can use the Hawksaw. Still, everyone should buy it for PvE and with the balance patch coming up.

On that note I have no idea wtf bungie is trying to do with the pulse rifle types. At least with the Malok class, which is to the Hawksaw what the Hawksaw is to the Nirwens, it's tough to cross map people without an insane roll (and even then tough because the fire rate is so drat high). The hawksaw is at least a bit more forgiving in terms of gun feel. Thats not the case with the Hawksaw vs. Nirwens. There's really no reason to use a Nirwens over a Hawksaw in PvP. Let's not even talk about the Spare change/Lyudmila class right now.
