Focusing is also a lot smoother on the CFe/CFi lenses and I think the lens mount is better too. But yeah like Yond said, none of that makes a difference to image quality, they're all the same optically. The T* coating helps for contrast and flare but it's not like something amazingly different.

ianskate posted:Question for any of you who are more into TLR shooting... which would you search out and consider "affordable"? I've been looking to expand my MF shooting, already own a Mamiya RZ67II but it's huge, so I've been looking towards a Yashica Mat 124 or something along those lines of size and weight, but there are too many models to choose from. Reviews are all over the place, so I'm putting my trust in goons. What TLR would you get and why? The Minolta Autocord is a good option if you're on a budget.

I never use a tripod with my Hasselblad, but I definitely try never to go below 1/60 unless absolutely necessary.

change my name posted:I'm going to Israel soon, so I thought I'd actually go back and follow through with getting the medium format camera I wanted last year. I really wanted to shoot square 6x6, but looking everything over it seems like the Pentax 645 is probably the best place to start? My budget is kind of tight and I like the idea of just going from 35mm/a DSLR to something comparable. Am I on the right track? Grab something like a Minolta Autocord if you want a value for money 6x6 camera. If you still want a DSLR shaped camera, get a Pentax 67. Don't waste your time with 645.
