Can't wait for it to start. Are there any pre-qualifiers or are the wild card type rounds all starting in the second week of August too. Or did that already happen? You been missing out on a lot of good games this year. Valve introduced the Majors series this year, which has a ridiculous number of problems but has provided mini-TIs each season.

I love watching Timbersaw. I really like mobile, man-fighting characters. If Anti-Mage's blink was instead a leap or some other non-instantaneous movement skill, he would be much more fun for me to watch.

Surprisingly, there was no convention crud at QuakeCon this year. Maybe all the signs telling people to take baths helped. Other than the lines to check in day 1, I didn't encounter any offensive smells.

No one picks the fort one (e: because it's no longer in the game, natch), but the teleport one is used a lot now. Often on more than one person per team. That cooldown is huge, though.
