If anything the only fault with slavery in the HP universe, canonically, is that some masters are not enlightened owners, which should be solved on an ad hoc basis, and not by removing the instituiton of slavery. I've never played Bioshock, but wasn't it a critique of objectivism rather than an endorsement? Though I believe the non-objectivist characters were also bad for some reason, so it seems the "drool, both sides bad" line runs deep through the Bioshock franchise.

The world would be a much better place if we got a ergio Leone expanded universe instead of Marvel / Star Wars expanded universe. I mean, Ennio Morricone is still active to infuse those movies with atmosphere, and producing better art as a 100 year old corpse than all of Hollywood combined.
