Fulham squad looks the best it has been for ages, I know it's not fashionable to be vaguely optimistic as a Fulham fan but it looks much more balanced than last year's plan. I don't know if balanced is quite the right word yet, given we sold our two best strikers and until two minutes before the deadline had only signed defenders and midfielders. We're still desperately short up front, unless Martin turns out to slot in perfectly and is fine playing two games a week til Christmas. On the other hand, everyone else we've signed has started superbly, so we're definitely going to win the title unbeaten and set a new points record.

Our record against the other playoff teams so far this season is fantastic, so we'll inevitably piss this right up the wall. I'm just holding out for a Wembley trip, since it'd be the first time we'd played there since 1975, and I couldn't make it that day.
