HEre are my thoughts op, what if when your part of the planet is technically facing "away" from the sun but just barely maybe it's still a little bit of the sun's rays are bending around and hitting you. I think this is a real phenomenon, but maybe some one who is really smart can google it on wikipedia. Anyway I think there is more light than darkness in this case, if I'm wrong please tell me but that's just how I like to the look at the world, anyway have a blessed day.
