You could not, for instance, refer to FC Dallas as Dallas City because the team's headquarters and stadium are located around twenty miles from downtown Dallas in a completely different town. OCSC's office is in downtown Orlando, as are their current and new stadiums. Something like this came up a few years ago when Carlos Tevez transferred from Manchester United to Manchester City, and the latter hung a giant banner in the city center saying "Welcome to Manchester," a dig at the fact that United plays in a different place.
