California is NOT a homogeneous state, Southern CA has lots of military people who are pretty conservative, and inland CA is also pretty conservative. The coast of CA north of Santa Barbara is very liberal though.

i went to california once it was really cool but the people i was with thought cali was the peak of civilization and missouri was some sort of third world shithole with no amenities and its like nah the streets are cleaner back home then they are here, its loving LA
