GBS needs a movie thread so here we go. Rules are as follows: 1 - Talk about movies. 2 - Only talk about movies released in the US in August or September. If it is from July or earlier, it's old and we don't care. If this goes well, I will make a new thread every month to keep things fresh.

The two films I have seen recently are: Hell or High Water and Kubo and the Two Strings. Kubo is utterly fantastic. Probably the best movie I have seen this year. Great story. Great characters. Great animation. If you haven't seen it, please do so. HoHW was a great film, but it's so sad and depressing I can't recommend it.
