Vision trying to be live like a human is a big part of his character, especially in his recent solo series. Star Trek had a whole thing where the holo-doctor have to fight to be recognised as a person. I think Data had to go through it too? In Star Wars, not everyone not everyone treat droids as people. That part in TFA when Rey rescued BB8 was the moment you are supposed to know she's not only the protagonist, but also a good person.

Framework Ward is technically a ghost. Last season, there was a zombie Ward. Maybe next season Ward becomes Ghost Rider to get the requisite flaming head.

Maybe the Darkhold is just the AoS version of the comic book Cosmic Cube. It can do anything. Maybe Hydra really did win, but someone changed history. Maybe Ward was originally a good guy and Fitz has always been a fascist.

A villain defeated by a monkey paw wish would be consistent with both Ghost Rider movies. In the first one, Blackheart is soulless so he was immune to the penance stare but his mission in the movie was to claim the soul of an entire town. He succeeded but that meant he became vulnerable with all those souls inside him. In the second movie, the devil is about to take over the body of his child to replace his own and Johnny Blaze cannot stop him because Blaze got separated from the corrupted angel Zarathos. Since the devil's son has the same power as him, the boy turned Blaze back into Ghost Rider except much more powerful since being an innocent child means the Zarathos that merges with Blaze also became uncorrupted.

Darth Brooks posted:Considering that the real Vlad fought Muslim armies that would make sense. Of course he fought Christians too. That's pretty much the reason the writer of that comic made him Islamophobic. Dracula specifically said that Muslim countries are getting more technologically advanced and have more superpowered people now, threatening Europe in the process. He approached Doom because Latveria and Transvylvania both exists near the borders of Europe and the Islamic world. STAC Goat posted:Doctor Doom. Evil authoritarian dictator who has killed thousands and routinely attempts to steal the Devil's power, but who has a nuance history of being brought to tears by 9/11 but opposing Islamophobia. Doom said he views racism as being based on assumptions. So someone as old as Dracula should be above that, especially as Doom describes it Dracula is just a carrier of a magic disease. STAC Goat posted:That's my main concern. I have no idea HOW they could make Medusa work on a limited TV budget and that trailer doesn't give any sign of it. They also don't show Crystal's powers, Triton underwater, or Black Bolt doing anything except making a car flip. All we really see is Karnak and Gorgon hitting stuff. So its a big question as to how they do the super powers and I'm a little worried that they didn't include some good shot in the trailer because they all look bad. I was about to say "maybe they should just make a Karnak series because his comic book was pretty good", but then I remember that the showrunner was also responsible for Iron Fist.

HUGE SPACEKABLOOIE posted:You're not wrong, I'd just kinda figured that AoS would continue being the bastard step child of the MCU and go totally unacknowledged. So since that writing or whatever is being used here not only are they taking directly from AoS I'd think they would also have to address the fact that there are now Inhumas on earth because fish oil. Don't get me wrong I think this show is fantastic especially after a really rocky start but it does come with a lot of Inhuman related baggage. All that said I'm totally fine with all of this. Inhumans and AoS are both by the same part of Marvel, so it's not that surprising. It just means the movies will probably barely acknowledge Inhumans the same way they do AoS. I think the Kree writing is the same in the comics too.
