I found some good iron deposits in the west part of the map, northwest of the river by a green magic barrier that I am afraid to touch. Aside from lolgoonisland are there any good base spots? With Avatars being a thing, is a distributed base a better idea?

I found the best tactic was to doubleteam an enemy. Stand behind and in front of say, a croc, if it's facing you, back up or block, if it's facing away smash it to death. Adjust as needed.

Now they just need to make it so you don't regen health while being attacked so combat isn't just benny hill.
