Haier posted:I knew it was too good to be true. All that relative quiet and calm in my apartment. This is China, and one must always remember that living in an apartment in China means loving hammering, sawing, and drilling from some nearby apartment, from sun up to sun down, and maybe sometimes into the late evening. Yeah, this happens loving everywhere. It's not just China. There's two new houses being built on my block and the noise is loving awful.

what the gently caress is Chungking hot pot and is it worth $16 American? I ask because there's two Chinese restaurants within decent driving distance and one claims to be serving "authentic" Szechuan cuisine and is expense and the other just serves the usual Americanized stuff for a fraction of the price

Imperialist Dog posted:If this degenerates into hotpot arguments again I swear I'll ask splicer to make it probationable again, my question is: this place charges $16 American for some sort of Chinese hotpot, which is pretty much the same as they charge for every other dish, is this worth trying y/n?
