If he doesn't keep his English up to snuff (difficult if he is living in China), then he's going to have a hell of a time trying to succeed in University, because he will be treated like every other Canadian student, where copying and pasting Wikipedia articles gets you an F or a ticket out with a blemish on your record.

I don't envy that kid's life if that's the road his mother intends to send him down.
