They could come up with the investigation results in 1 to 2 months, but, the NTSB had to hold up the results until after the election, giving Biden and democrats enough time to extract enough "election funding" from the parties involved in the collision/destruction of the bridge. They were thinking about releasing the results shortly after the election, but, that would have been too suspicious and fodder for conspiracy theories. So, to remove the suspicious and conspiracies, they decided to move the release of their investigations to 2 years in the future/ Nobody would suspect any collusion of suspicious activity if the release date was that far into the future. Besides, it would give democrats enough time to align their government-funded contracts to their union-controlled workers who would rebuild the bridge. And, that's not a conspiracy theory; that's how things work. with democrats. T

The smell of a rat emanated from this incident from it’s first report.
There were just way too many talking heads there dispelling those unreported on instances of those of us daring to interject the possibility of dastardly deed doings as it appeared to be from the viewings of video of the ship co-alliding with the bridge.
A ship of that length acts like a huge rudder as it slips through the water in laminar flow along its hull lines. Inspite of this we see the ship turn sharply.
The camera perspective does not change appreciably but the side view angle of the ship does and the ship turns to approach straight into the bridge pier as so affected.
The application of right rudder and full ahead would cause such a turn.
Skepticism is healthy given the shenanigans this government has already foisted on us.
Let us see an investigation before Joe spends another dime.

I'm sure there are many who just like I was are just members. I was reading and posting at FR at my desk (as time permitted) as a fed LEO for years until I retired: The reason....

FR is the best source of breaking news out there and the comment are funny and informative.

I suspect that any comment on FR that would get you a visit from the FBI would would have been deleted by the Admin Mod or by a visit from the Viking Kitties.

No, sorry, he didn’t keep his first term promises. By the numbers, he deported less than Obama. We ended up with more illegals in the country at the end of his term than at the start. He only built part of the wall, now says a mere 200 more miles will finish it. He said he’d cut off countries that didn’t take back deportees, but didn’t do it (e.g., China, India, and lots of others). He sustained and increased H1B, didn’t even send them back during COVID when they actually had only 60-days to leave. Lots more, but realize that a lot didn’t get accomplished. There is a vaccine for it and they inoculate fighting roosters, but for chickens raised for eggs or meat, usually if your henhouse gets infected, it is cheaper to just kill them all and start over.

One reason that President Obama banned gain of function research was because some US lab did gain of function research in the USA.

That is the backstory of why the experts had to farm out the gain of function research to overseas labs.

Yes the spread to the dairy cattle in Texas is concerning .
However we test for diseases a ton more than in the past.
This could have happened in the past and we just never knew it.

I could not find out how they “documented” the death due to the avian virus infection, in that case.

RCV “by nature, creates a power vacuum,” which liberal donors seek to create in order “to supplement party infrastructures,” Snead added. The mega-donors are “very keen to make it look like RCV is a homegrown grassroots and bipartisan operation,” despite being “funded by the same people,” Snead said.

Snead explained that there could be ballot measures in six to 10 states in November regarding RCV. He explained that “it usually takes the form of a Final Five or Final Four-style system,” which would “blow up the party primary system, replace it with a jungle primary,” and then have RCV in the general election.

RCV, like my preferred system of Unranked Approval Voting, tends to help non-extreme candidates that cater to a wide audience. This of course is bad for MAGA, and therefore RCV is of the devil.

I think it starts with the black family. Since the War on Poverty in 1967, black children raised in single-parent homes has risen from 25% to over 72%. The gov't pays more in transfer payments if the father is not present. Why not reverse this and cap it after two children? This would make mothers go after the fathers if for no other reason than getting more money. Black fathers might learn that it doesn't take any brains or effort to be a father, but being a parent does.
