In Canada we have Thanksgiving in October, and this year my parents were on vacation overseas. Not having to attend a dinner full of loud relatives and their children was bliss. I ordered a pizza and watched Netflix.

gently caress you, I love my family but my family is huge. When we get together it's an all day event with dozens of people. It's exhausting and I see most of them regularly throughout the year. It was nice to have a long weekend to myself for once and you don't get to self righteous me into not appreciating that because you made assumptions. Comparing people to Freepers.
