The right wing has been inundated with a narrative that all over the "blue cities" there's constant riots due to marxists and ANTIFA!!! They're ready for the big bad feds to sweep 'em all up into prison because they're all terrorists. I wish this was hyperbole.

Being bad at interpreting fiction and thinking its reality really seem like key symptoms in deranged right-wingers.

The early voting data is good for Biden. The only place where it looks "even" is in a site that's basically just making stuff up because the states they're saying they're tracking don't actually report party ID for ballot requests and returns.

(Denial, bargaining, etc.) A big help in 2016 is no one really liked Hillary all that much. Trump was obviously really bad, but it's not like she was held up as the savior of America or anything. Trump is an infallible loving god to these people.

This is real when prophecies fail stuff. Georgia's election got certified, Trump's lost all his cases except 1, Michigan is saying there's no reason to overturn the election, yet these people are convinced all of that actually means they're winning and are gonna be revealed to have won any day now.

It's interesting to see cracks form even in Freep. Doing nothing but losing for 4 weeks takes its toll.

Dr. VooDoo posted:My favorite thing about Freeps “It’ll go to the SCOTUS now. WINNING!” is they seem to think it’s like talking to a court’s manager. You can’t just go to the SCOTUS because you lost a case and presenting no evidence and having rambling, incoherent filings is pretty much 100% the way to not get to the SCOTUS They seem to think that the judges will give Rudy a total win because of loyalty to Trump or a personal vendetta against Biden. They don't seem to realize that if they do that, not only will Trump still not win, but the supreme court would lose all legitimacy as an actual court. It's a disastrous move, the case is so poor in every aspect that even allowing it into the SC is embarrassing. It shows they don't care about laws or legitimacy or democracy, they just want things to go their way.

Yeah there's no way Dem voters are gonna vote for someone other than Biden, the weirdness around Biden becoming president resides entirely among the far right. The republican party as a whole wasn't totally happy with Trump winning at the time. Cruz said to vote your conscience, remember.

The rover, which basically landed itself on mars, can self-drive so it can move around quicker because pilots don't have to watch out for any medium size rocks every 2 inches all day, has a helicopter on it, is carrying an experimental technology to take the O2 out of the atmosphere's CO2 and combine it with hydrogen from the soil to create rocket fuel on mars instead of having to carry enough fuel to get there and back, and is powered by radioactive decay, cost 2.7 billion dollars. A nice chunk of change. A pretty big expense. Except Texas cut state property taxes by more than that last year by reducing their rate by 4 cents. There is nothing to get mad at here. It's a scientific marvel accomplished by money you can get by asking the population for pennies.

They're not exactly being embraced as heroes. The attack either didn't happen, or if it did happen, it was a false flag. The 400 and counting people charged aren't martyrs, they're mostly ignored.

The Lone Badger posted:They've already gone all-in on voter suppression as their main strategy for the future. And they have the supreme court so it may be a winning one. Every time the GOP loses people tell them that in order to win more votes, they need to chillax and moderate. Every time they react by getting worse and trying to make ways to win without getting more votes.
