You know, it won't be FReepers, but I am legit scared for what some of these fringe, extreme right-wing nutjobs will do when Trump loses. Like, a "revolution" is way too strong a word, but people committing terroristic acts on US soil in the name of "FREEDUMB" and misguided rage is a very, very real possibility. There are enough psychos who think that those kinds of actions would be a good idea to make me honestly believe that poo poo will actually go down, and the threats made thus far have at least some base in reality. I'm sure also that because I live in the south that these ideas could come to fruition much easier than the rest of the country, what with the unending supply of guns and ignorance.

I'm sure no one does, but don't expect Republicans to take blame for anything now, even when they control it all. They'll find their particular brand of strawman, one who probably wouldn't pass the paper bag test, and blame them. It's happened for decades, and it won't change now. They're going to gently caress this country up 5 ways from Sunday, then use mental gymnastics to blame minorities and democrats. Then when the next democratic president is elected and tries to fix the damage done, and can't fix it overnight because of the extent of the damage, you'll have the right screaming again about how ineffective Democrats are. It's a vicious cycle and is enough to make any rational person want to quit this country.

Apologies for dragging this back up from last page, but real quick about the new Beauty and the Beast. So this may be a dumb question, but wouldn't shutting down all these hate sites, doxxing all the Nazis at rallies, etc etc. just make them more apt to band together and start some poo poo? Not specifically FR, but all these alt-right and Nazi idiots? Is it crazy to think they'd all get together over a shared  marginalization and start just one large group? I was thinking about this the other day, and there have been a few groups over the course of history that have been formed thanks to the general public driving them underground. Depending on Utah's state laws, resisting an unlawful arrest with force is completely legal.
