Yeah they really do need to do one for him, even just for an episode. Hell, the comics used to do it for other characters all the time once it was an established thing*. I fully expect episode 1 to be largely from Iris's perspective and for her to have the episode 1 monologue talking about Barry's absence.

I'd imagine it's basically: everyone's recruited by The Ray to help the Freedom Fighters liberate Nazi Earth and fight the Nazi doppelgangers of the big heroes of each series. The End.

I'm also not a fan of Zari being referred to by name, but given that the alternative was Isis, I can understand.

Something about Nazis crashing an interracial wedding just tickles me. I wonder if they are going to get political given the current climate.. I kinda hope not, I don't really trust these writers. "Use your natural athleticism!"

Anyway, I love that Barry and Iris are front and center. I hope they actually write for her this season and let her be an awesome and good character. Candice Patton is a gem.

Yes, but it was played completely straight and not "wtf old white man". It would actually be really interesting if they had the guts and talent to delve into the idea of a black youth having an old white man in his mind/body. It doesn't have to be like "Get Out" but there's a lot of potential for storytelling there.

Some people are athletically gifted(naturally atheltic) -- not everyone can train and condition themselves to do well in sports at a high level. That's how I took the line but it's still cringe-worthy because of the history behind statements that sound like it

She is in fact Overgirl :eng101:

Melissa Benoist voices the character on The Ray animated series on CW Seed that serves at the prequel/setup to the crossover and she's referred to Overgirl apparently.

Different person. Dahrk's daughter is being played by Brandon Routh's wife and is a villain this year, but they're from roughly the same time period on the show so I imagine they'll be connected somehow, but who knows?

But there are a bunch of animated Justice League movies and a trailer for a Freedom Fighters show with Ray, Black Condor, and Red Tornado.

Sadly every time i try to play it the app crashes.

edit: HOLY poo poo! The Ray series is set on Planet X where the Nazis won where he leads a team of heroes against the SS Oliver, Barry, and Kara!

I don't know why I'm this excited by a dumb cartoon but I can't believe that even on a dumb web thing they made the stars of their three series Nazis.
