Gremlins 2 is decent at best, and far from Joe Dante's best work. However, it's him just completely unhinged and off the rails, so I gotta respect that.

Rogue One sucks rear end. A New Hope is an amazing movie. JJ Abrams was absolutely correct to ape it for The Force Awakens, which was pretty good.

Reaction videos are like the worst loving thing. Especially when it's just forced clickbait Youtube views poo poo. I get the idea of maybe secretly recording someone's reaction to a thing like that. You want that genuine reaction from whatever they're watching. But man, that whole thing is just fake as gently caress. Of course they're going to go nuts for it. They don't want to miss out on free Funkos or passes to movies or other swag.

I loving hate the Marvel Movies but I liked this movie a lot for the reasons they mentioned in the video. Characters get arcs, the villain is interesting, etc.

I know there were attempts to make a tv movie and a new series to follow up to it but that never happened. I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet. Nerd nostalgia is at an all time high. Better do it now while Bakula and Stockwell are still alive.

I think visually the Phantom Menace is the best prequel. Episode 2 looks like someone smeared poo on the camera lens. 3 is better but still suffers from being 100% glaringly obvious that everything was shot on green screen.
