I really don't see how you could possibly like 31 if you didn't like Devil's Rejects or House of 1000 Corpses. There are those, he said in the voice of Malcom MacDowell from Fallout 3, there are those, who would accuse Rob Zombie of having grown as a director since Ho1kC. There are those that who The Devil's Rejects is a legitimate work of satire with things to say about the outside world, there are those who claim that The Lords of Salem is not just a good Rob Zombie movie, but a good movie period. 31 isn't just Rob Zombie Robzombieing as hard as he can, it is his vehement and sincere denial to those treacherous and unwarranted accusations. That said, I'm getting a chainsaw for my birthday this week and you all saw that the Heads in the movie had -Head names for their chainsaws so it's only right that my chainsaw gets a -Head name too. What does GBS think is an appropriate name for a workin goon's chainsaw?

I kinda liked "lords" because it was just so odd and I like film where the protagonists are hosed from the beginning but don't know it (Mouth of Madness) but yeah, gently caress 31 if it's just his usual poo poo affair. I'd call your Chainsaw Mr. WaterHead. It makes no sense in any common way, but dammit, Mr. Water is a danged treasure.

London Has Fallen is on Netflix, I have no idea how they got that cast to agree to film this movie. It's a B movie with a good cast. It's the most "Americuh gently caress Yeah!" movie I've seen in a long time. The dialog is right out of a hokey B action flick. It's fun, ridiculous, and awful but it's not a waste of time if you're in the mood for it.

Every time some other leader died I was like "wait who was that" but it didn't matter because all that mattered was the USA president. But i mean really the scenario is just absurd, even more absurd than the original Olympus has Fallen with the north koreans in the AC130 or whatever. No terrorist groups are, were, or ever will be that organized and widespread.

Rampage isn't bad, Attack on Darfur was fairly decent, at least it was nice to see him attempt to make an actual film.

I still think Unforgiven>* I thought the original True Grit was fine but not a top ten western or anything to begin with, the remake was good. 3:10 to Yuma is a harder call to make just because the original was perfect. I liked the remake, but it's harder to please everyone when the original was more than just "John Wayne western #45". Van Heflin did a much better job at representing the simple every day man, insecure about providing for his family. Even the concern that his wife might want to gently caress Glenn Ford, or that his kids would think he's a bad rear end criminal, all of it it made sense and was believable. I can't insult Bale for being handsome, but it does make the relationship a little bit weird. Two super famous well loved dudes facing off where one tries to make his voice sad or some poo poo so you believe he's actually insecure or threatened, but you can't see past what you know.
