Wait has GBS been back for over a week already? It's still that weird name thing on the awful app on my phone. Guess I shouldn't just post from my phone... At any rate I swear the gym at my school is frequented by a Chris Hemsworth impersonator. poo poo's uncanny. Has a pretty drat good OHP too. In other news, my new post-lifting food: fried chicken. No good burritos in the midwest, but drat this chicken is good. What's a better post-lift food, a carne asada burrito or a bucket of fried chicken?

Went swimming yesterday after jogging the day before. Swam with a friend, she showed me up. Leg cramped up after half an hour (37 mins?) And now I can't extend it all the way. I guess it's arm day today.

Personally i like the butterfly stretch, but rather than trying to bring your knees down just focus on leaning your body forward to open up the pelvic area. It's also one of the few stretches you can bounce. If you can't push your knees all the way down, just kinda bounce 'em up and down. It'll still stretch your hips. I've never felt light headed. Are you saying that people hold until the top of the lift then exhale strongly and that is causing the drop in BP ? I'm just trying to make sense as to if I am at risk with my breathing. Pretty much. Yeah, rippetoe says to hold your breath but uh ... then that happens. I'll breathe through most of the move, even if it takes 15% off my max. I'd rather not crack my head open. (Pretty sure this can happen if you breathe too, it just happens more when you hold your breath from my under standing)

I was at the gym the morning too. Did arms, then did jump+clapping pushups as a finisher because I hate myself. In other news, I just found out that there's now a dude at the local farmer's market selling homemade salami. Holy poo poo it's the best salami I've ever had. I guess he just started now because the seasonal change? I dunno, I don't care, I just want more.

I switched to a smaller gym on campus and it's over some classrooms so they're technically allowed but they're super strict. i guess technically i could lower weight and be super careful but that seems like kinda a waste It's actually harder to lower it slow enough to not make noise than it is to just drop it, so you'll be doing yourself a favor by working out harder! E: though it's true if you're going heavy that you're probably not going to set it down lightly anyway. Just don't drop the weights and you'll be good?

Y'all big people are magical Us manlets can only dream of 6000 kcal. Re: cooking - actually learning to cook something tasty is kind of a challenge, but when you do get it it makes eating clean so much easier. I really miss having time to plan my meals and cook, I hope I can get back to that soon. Fried chicken is great, but I don't have the time to lift heavy enough for it to matter.

Burritos: carne asada, black beans, cilantro, onions, salsa. Maybe rice instead of beans. Guacamole if you need some more calories / gently caress it put guacamole on because it's delicious. Add lemon/lime juice if you think it needs it. Chopped up Bell peppers if you need some fiber, but that's it. Anything else and you've hosed it up. Edit: meat substitutions are okay, default should be carne asada.
