Yeah I got some input on that as well somewhere along the way I think the deal was they were recording in a house and they put the drumkit on the ground floor of this large three story spiral staircase and the microphones at the top of the staircase to give that distance and organic bashing to the drums by the time they bounced up to the mics It's some real good drumming
