post about places in games that looked awesome, or had a lasting impression on you. even some of the shittiest games out there can have a strong aesthetic, or a place with a cool idea behind it. pics encouraged moonside had a great look, but talking to the NPCs it was slowly revealed that you were in some kind of demonic fever dream and it really freaked me out as a kid. it was also the point in the game where the combat took the gloves off and the hosed up nightmare enemies started using lethal AOE attacks that forced you to act quickly, which added to the scary feel. one of the coolest places i've seen in a game to date
