Oh good somewhere I can just say this:

I didn't really start keeping track or watching football until the last few years and certainly didn't pay Washington much mind while I was living there. Apparently they've always been this bogglingly stupid?? How have they not signed Cousins yet? What else are they going to do pick up a rookie and hope for the best? Not to mention letting their good receivers go.

I didn't know a professional team could be this bad at being sports.

Skins fired their GM and least the thing I'm listening to is ripping on Snyder and Alan several new ones and proclaiming how stupid everyone over there is. My favorite line was one I have been starting to gather is "if this wasn't an NFL team which is financially bullet proof Snyder would have run this into the ground like everything else he ever did" haha.

Washington's front office continues to be a poo poo show.

We don't need to bring in someone who isn't already on the payroll and might tell people above them things they don't like. Nope nope well make this guy a VP and call it good enough.

So looking forward to them stumble into another bland year.

There are non zero amount of people calling in to say Washington didn't gently caress this whole deal up. I shouldn't be but I'm flabbergasted. Yeah Cousins isn't the best QB in the NFL but these yahoos somehow think oh they'll just draft some kid or find someone else and it will be fine in a few years. That's what you want, another X years of failing to be anything but a joke I listen to cause that particular level of failure is amazing.

Bruce Allen's stupid statement only works on people who don't understand math.

Therefore there is a nonzero number of people who think Bruce Allen's statement isn't dogshit scraped across a piece of paper and that the Redskins didn't royally gently caress this up.

Why can't I just loving give up and cheer for Baltimore instead?

I feel for you. So glad I'm not really a fan I just like seeing this kind of stupidity play out for millions of dollars (see also: bitcoin)

Who really wants to go on about how much they are a fan of the mediocre Washington team? I only keep up cause I hear about it through a show so I have better context.

Plus their big story for 6 months has been hey look how bad we hosed up getting a functional QB signed up or good players who are fragile as gently caress. Woo

Both Skin & Eagles both have to deal with being the win the 49s finally getting their win too, it's not like they're getting blown out. Hell I hear their last 2 games went to OT, sooner or later they're going to get lucky and sucks to be the team that could happen to.

I say this cause it will probably be Washington lol

I'm steadily convinced that Cousins has no desire whatsoever to be in Washington, and will continue to ride the Snyder gravy train so long as they keep franchising him. $34 million is well worth another year of dealing with this clusterfuck of a front office, but if he hits the open market I think he'll happily find another organization that isn't run by the NFL equivalent of the Trump administration.
