I was gonna say something about winning more against the division, but if I only go back 20 years the only team we're consistently whooping up on is the redskins.

Historically, though, the NFCE has collectively been Dallas' division.

jesus who cares. We won the division this year and had a great year. Of course fans of the rest of the division are gonna bring up the past because that's all they've got right now. Oh no the Jaguars won some playoff games back when they were good and we were trash! Guess our franchise is garbage! Oh look this team won some super bowls before some of us were born! Your team never won a Super Bowl! Guess you should put a bag over your head! I don't know how you guys do this poo poo over and over and over every week.

Literally all four of these teams played better than any of their fans had any right to expect this year. All four. Even Giants fans with their bravado didn't foresee the team going 11-5 with a shot at 12-4 and the 1-seed this year. Washington fans weren't sure they had the QB of the future in Cousins. Cowboys fans thought the season was over when Romo went down. Eagles fans figured the whole thing was a lost cause and had no reason to believe Wentz was the guy. Now here we are and all four teams are flawed, but all four teams have potentially bright futures (though obviously that future extends a shorter distance out for the Giants). The NFC East is actually the best division in football, and that's pretty cool, even if the non-Cowboys teams are terrible and their fans are human trash. What matters now is that we can collectively root for the Falcons because oh my god gently caress these three other teams

Well said.

The only time I was legit upset last night watching the game was when Aikman brought up Green Bay as a "team that has suffered through a lot of heartbreak over the past few years" like winning only one super bowl and making the playoffs is a real loving travesty

I was upset with Garret not going for the FCK at the end of the half. If he didn't think Bailey had the leg for it send out the punter just never walk away when you have an uncontested shot at points. Bailey can put kickoffs in the back of the end zone and he had a few yards extra here. Even if he missed there wasn't going to be a return.

yeah but you can substitute anyone with "and two rings" and it'd still be true. I'd rather have had Osama bin Laden and two rings. I'd rather have Richard Spencer and two rings.

What about John Gruden. You get one ring, that way, and one of the most hilariously lopsided superbowls as well.

I mean, seriously, you're going up against the guy that coached your team last year and you change next to nothing about his offensive system? loving Bill Callahan.

Also I just stumbled down a rabbit hole where people seem to think that Bill Callahan deliberately threw the game and wanted to lose the super bowl.

Also Pete Carroll is only good because he told his team to cheat on the field all the time and the refs swallow their whistles instead of calling DPI on every play.

Eagles fans' hate for McNabb always seemed so bizarre to me. I didn't really consider how Dallas has lost a lot of their o-line and their secondary has been drenched in gasoline and lit on fire. They seemed to have made some good CB picks in the draft. But, it's hard to depend on rookies. Then the suspensions.

Dallas defense could be really, really bad.

They've been really bad since wade's second year and have been carried by an amazing offense.

The claim that dallas' D was any good over the past three years comes only from people looking at stats and not the game.

They've filed for a temporary injunction blocking the suspension. We'll have a ruling this week on it. On one hand Goodell has pretty much universal authority on the other hand the NFL's people recommended no suspension and Roger pulled the trigger anyways.
