just like a few months ago where I played through all the castlevania games for the first time ever, now Im going to play through all the Kirby games. The only one Ive ever played before is Kirby 64 and Dream Land 2, and im looking forward to experiencing the whimsical history of Kirby. Here's the games Ill be playing:

Kirby's Dream Land (Game Boy, 1992) Completed 10/22/2016
Kirby's Adventure (NES, 1993) Completed 10/23/2016
Kirby's Pinball Land (Game Boy, 1993) "Completed" 10/23/2016
Kirby's Dream Course (SNES, 1995) Completed 11/6/2016
Kirby's Avalanche (SNES, 1995) Played 11/6/2016
Kirby's Dream Land 2 (Game Boy, 1995) Completed
Kirby's Block Ball (Game Boy, 1996) Completed 10/26/2016
Kirby Super Star (SNES, 1996)
Kirby's Star Stacker (Game Boy, 1997)
Kirby's Dream Land 3 (SNES, 1997)
Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards (N64, 2000)
Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble (GBC, 2000)
Kirby Air Ride (GCN, 2003)
Kirby and the Amazing Mirror (GBA, 2004)
Kirby: Canvas Curse (DS, 2005)
Kirby: Squeak Squad (DS, 2006)
Kirby's Epic Yarn (Wii, 2010)
Kirby Mass Attack (DS, 2011)
Kirby's Return to Dreamland (Wii, 2011)
Kirby: Triple Deluxe (3DS, 2014)
Kirby and the Rainbow Curse (Wii U, 2015)
Kirby: Planet Robobot (3DS, 2016)

no remakes currently planned, and I think Tilt n Tumble may be hard to emulate since it uses gyro controls in the cart I believe? if its cheap enough Ill try to get my hands on a cart and play it on my GBA.

I played the original GB game so much as a kid that I still think of Kirby's copy power as a weird gimmick.

I really enjoyed all the cool spins they put on Kirby's movement in Dream Land 2.

Kirby's Adventure is gorgeous and the different abilities are rad but the bosses suddenly feel completely broken by being able to just stand next to them and use moves. They were pretty well designed in Dream Land 1 and now Im just smoking fools with lightning and swords

I love Kirby. Every Kirby game just gets better and better... planet Robobot might be the best one yet.

One Nation, Under God.
Dreamland 2, 3 and 64 are a mini-trilogy by a different director so they have more of a puzzle feel but the other mainline games are either Sakurai games or in the mold of Sakurai games and they're more or less just action games

there's a GB emulator for Wii that lets you control Tily n Tumble by tilting the wiimote

Kirby's Adventure is probably the second best NES game Ive ever played behind SMB3.

Kirby superstar lagged my xbox when I tried to emulate it, but I still forced myself to play the entire thing at between 9 and 17 frames per second.

Kirby's Adventure is one of my all-time favorite games. It's so good. The GBA remake does not match up.

Lmao that's exactly my ranking.

SMB3
Kirby's Adventure
Legend of Zelda
Final Fantasy
SMB2

You could probably switch Mario 2 for Mario 1, though. I just like SMB2 a lot, even though 1 is probably the better game.

He employed liberal save state usage to beat 7 of the 11 Castlevania games.

I only used it to beat Bloodlines and the second GB game IIRC. Some other games I used save states and then didn't actually beat it anyway like CV3.
