there's no way that's a complete list, either

The movie that popularised the entire trend doesn't even appear on the list (Saving Private Ryan)

It also sucks you can't ctrl+f on lists because the film name doesn't appear anywhere on the page

The titles appear when you're in list view. The option is up near the filters button.

Does anyone have a pro account? I have a CSV file with tons of movies for a watchlist that I don't want to manually enter. Is there any cool perks besides import features at the pro level?

You get quite a neat yearly summary, but that was the only thing I really used when I had a pro account a few years back.

Cool, I went ahead and got it since my "movie list file" is 635 movies haha. It got almost all of them too!

My watchlist on Letterboxd has 531 movies on it. It's fun to look for something to watch and be able to sort that whole list based on genre or decade or length.

Also, I think with a Pro account you can have the site sort by availability on all the different streaming services, which is a nice perk.

My watchlist is down to under 600 after deleting some movies I had seen but not removed and a few that weren't listed on letterbox but on youtube so I had to just save them there.

It is neat how it auto removes them when you mark them watched in other views.

My watchlist is really a sight to behold when its not organized in any meaningful way. I've got really serious art films like Embrace of the Serpent and Happiness right next to schlock like Missing in Action(Chuck Norris) and Under Siege 2.

So it is! Turns out that the alphabetical order has "The" movies under T so I missed it. Is there a sort feature or preferences that get around that issue as well? I hate "The" movies being under T

Not a shootout, but there's a big fight in a supermarket near the end of They Might Be Giants.

(Also there's a good supermarket scene in Messiah of Evil)

I think I'm going to preface my serious reviews with purposely obtuse summaries, just for my own amusement.

quote:

'Sully' follows the downfall of a pilot who spends his days obsessively daydreaming about causing a 9/11-esque disaster by crashing his plane into Manhattan. Luckily, disaster is averted when he miscalculates and plunges his aircraft into the Hudson River with no loss of life. God Bless America.

Welcome back to the Liturgigoon thread, friend.
Man, with a cover like that, I'm never watching Begotten.

My account, I'm trying to write at least a short response to every feature film I watch:

It was on that old Scimitar VHS with Godzilla: King of the Monsters and the trailer-comp Sci-Fi Monsters, circa 1998. That was an artifact from my childhood I wish I could still find.

What exactly is with Letterboxd's phobia of movies marked as "Video" on TMDB? It's a bit annoying that I can't log the first movie I've seen this year just because of some silly classification system on a separate website.
