I saw Lemonade but it isn't a feature film so no logging :colbert:

Where did you get this? The Year In Review thing just gives me 2015.

E: Nevermind it's probably a Pro thing.

I am currently struggling to limit myself to four of my favorite movies.

We managed to have the same rating on Blood Wars. Huh.

My least popular movie is an adaptation of Paul's Case from 1980 and there are also two Vonnegut adaptations in the bottom 5.

What if it's something like the latest Maria Bamford specials?

7 people have seen 1871, a film from 1991 about the Paris Commune that is actually really good.

Also, it's making me irrationally angry that the stupid YouTube video "how New Line Cinema ruined the Friday the 13th series" is listed on Letterboxd, like a bunch of stills stolen from the internet with some mouth breathers heavy breathing hot takes is supposed to be considered a documentary, or that Paramount was doing such a loving stellar job with the series before New Line got a hold of the IP.

Well there are a shitload of 9/11 truth videos with about the same production values up there.

Here’s a dumb WIP list of bad representations of metal (real or fake) in film. I thought about the really bad concert scene from 2016 Ghostbusters while writing this.

Having Tenacious D in this list seems a bit off.

You've got The Brothers Solomon ranked higher than The Raid and that's really hurting my head.

I really didn't care for The Raid movies, and Brothers Solomon is hilarious.

I mainly treat the rating as a vibe check. Like, my immediate emotional reaction is what I go by, and that probably leads to a few movies being a star higher than I'd give them in retrospect.
