Just followed all of you I think, here's my thing: https://letterboxd.com/cebrail/ I've only been using letterboxd for a week though, and I didn't start watching movies that aren't poo poo that long ago either so all you get from me is hot takes on films that everyone has seen a thousand times.

I can finally see what's available on Netflix! And I can use the Letterboxd watchlist as my watchlist without needing a secondary website to check what's available where! This is amazing, I'm going to get a subscription right away. Edit: But I thought this was already available for the US, what changed for you guys?

I wish they'd make something useful out of the Popular list this movie is in feature instead of just showing "Random movie roulette" for everything.

I think letterboxd just needs a different way of figuring out the top anything that they display. The top lists this movie is in or whatever it's called could be a fun thing, but it's always just "List Of Literally All Movies" or "1000 Movies That Have The Letter E In The Title".

The channels are not included if you select Amazon Prime, you can select (some of) them on their own. I would assume it's the same for Hulu.

It will 100% ruin the site because most people watch way more TV than movies. It will drown out everything else.

Philthy posted:So I just found out about Letterboxd and it's p cool. I dumped my horror insanity into it. I don't see any real benefits for the pro/patron levels that stick out. Is it mostly just to pat them on the back for making such a slick site? Doesn't look like they have groups yet? The online service availability thing is worth the money alone imo. Of course you can check everything on justwatch.com, but being able to check my entire watchlist (that I'm keeping on letterboxd anyway) for films that are on a streaming service I subscribe to (and filtering for a specific service, and getting an email when a film I want to watch comes to a service I have) is such a luxury.
