Logged most of my physical collection, goddamn do I own a lot of unwatched movies.

Also, count me in on not only having seen Dr. Mordrid, but I also own a copy on dvd (it came in a Full Moon Video box set, but I saw it originally on vhs from my local rental store back in the day).

Also, it's making me irrationally angry that the stupid YouTube video "how New Line Cinema ruined the Friday the 13th series" is listed on Letterboxd, like a bunch of stills stolen from the internet with some mouth breathers heavy breathing hot takes is supposed to be considered a documentary, or that Paramount was doing such a loving stellar job with the series before New Line got a hold of the IP.

Made the mistake of trying to track movies that can be traced back to Night of the Living Dead and ended up encompassing pretty much the entire mindless horde genre.

1 1/2 stars - bad but maybe had a good idea/scene or an actor who stood out
2 stars - okay
2 1/2 stars - good
3 stars - pretty good
3 1/2 stars - really good
4 stars - great
4 1/2 stars - really great
5 stars - the best

Can we talk about the letterboxed user who logs his movies with the only diary information being the theater he saw the film at. :wtc:

lol that owns.

Letterboxd has helped me cut down on watching old repeats I forgot I already watched. It really pissed me off while watching Death Promise that halfway through I had the realization that I already saw this movie.

Still a great movie but I hate watching something thinking I’ve never seeing it then slowly realizing, no, my brain’s just turning to mush.

Pretty sure Brimley is clean shaven in the Thing, but there’s a few Kurt Russell joints they would be apt for the list.

Anyone else using the free version on iOS and keep having the app spit you out into the safari browser to open up their ad websites? It’s getting pretty annoying, especially when it happens right as I’m opening the app.

The app version of Letterboxd isn’t as accurate in regards to streaming availability. Sometimes I’ll check on the app and see something is not available, only to click through to the just watch website and see it’s on tubi or something.
