The wall isn't supposed to be practical or useful, its just the biggest piece of red meat ever thrown to a group of voters since ever

The military is a really cheap jobs program for young males that is unfortunately saddled with a tremendously expensive procurement apparatus. It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't bleeding us dry while simultaneously being used to make the world a worse place.

40 years of Democrats and Republicans and the average American is worse off so please stop pretending either party really gives a poo poo about the economy other than whatever it takes to get elected and make their donors happy

It's time to stop pretending that the Democrats have offered any other economic answers the last 40 years other than saying 'get a degree' while conveniently standing idly by if not tacitly approving of the GOP decimation of working/middle class.

The romanticization of manufacturing jobs that never existed is because a non-trivial portion of America views themselves as the star of a Chevy trucks commercial. They see themselves as someone they aren't and that fake person is lamenting the passing of their equally non-existant livelyhood.

She (wrongly and for reasons I don't fully understand) thought she was loved in some traditionally dem blue collar states and she wanted everybody to love her by running up the numbers in traditionally red states. Supporters thought she was a combination of Bill and Barack when she was really Gore and Kerry
