Someone had to explain to Trump that Bill Cosby was not available to head the agency that will now be in charge of telling people to pull up their pants

David Simon on twitter was making a case that it's reasonable to ask for the voter fraud to be looked into given the validity of claims emerging, couching it as "this is a very civil and justified inquery".

I responded saying that if we were in the reverse, where Hillary has the EC votes and Trump had the pop vote as they stand now, and similarly weighted allegations of fraud came up, the other side would have drawn blood over it by now.

He told me in so many words that I'm crazy, but am I? One of my top concerns in the days/hours before the election results was that trump's base would have openly defied the results (that we were expecting), so if it had resulted in where we are now they would have lashed out in many violent acts, isolated or no.

Trump's basest supporters have drawn blood over winning, so it's not a huge leap to say they would have drawn blood over a variety of situations.

They are currently lashing out in (arguably isolated) violent acts.
