Yes the team without a safety or a DE after Addison leaves or offensive tackles is the perfect place for a player without a position.

Hard to say. He was good last year, and injured a bit this year. When he came back he was playing behind a line that at some points had zero week 1 starters in their natural position. Our offense is also really complex and involves a lot of motion and read options from Cam. When it isn't working, the RB (Stewart) is the one who suffers most. Last year it really clicked and everyone thought our OC was a genius. This year it didn't, whether it be injuries, teams having a lot more tape on us, Cam regressing, etc.

In a normal offense with a healthy line, Stewart might have another few years in him. He will miss 2-3 games a year though.

i did not in fact think he was a genius.

Ted Ginn is ideally their deep threat, but he was more like the number one receiver last year because teams went out of their way to stop olsen, or he had to stay in to block, and kelvin is just total trash. For what it's worth, some autist on the panthers reddit gif'd almost every funchess play and he was just running all over the field wide open. He was just always the third or fourth read and cam never got there.

Tolbert got old and useless overnight. By the time it happened, their only depth was fozzy and Cameron artis Payne who turns out to suck.

As far as talent he's developed, I would say none since he's not really a position coach or had any playing experience. He did engineer one of the best seasons for a qb ever, although with a strategy that probably took three seasons off his career. Shula just useless but he and Rivera are tied to the hip.

If they're going to overdraft an offensive player I'd rather it be OJ Howard. Just get some stacked tight end who can help with blocking and stretch the field.

the panthers have been playing 1970s steelers football since their inception, and as such have never given a poo poo about the tight end position.

Seriously, their highest draft pick on a te was a third on mike seidman in 2003.

He sucked.

Also I guess they drafted Gary barnidge but fox hated him cause he couldn't block.

Brady is on serious chemicals and takes his conditioning way more seriously than Favre ever did.

He's not going out any time soon, barring a severe injury which he won't be able to recover from.

Appearing on ESPN's NFL Insiders Thursday, Panthers coach Ron Rivera said "our top runner cannot be our quarterback."

Jonathan Stewart was technically the Panthers' "top runner" in 2016, but remained injury prone and mostly a grinder. J-Stew has averaged 3.94 yards per carry over the past two seasons, and is going on 30. The Panthers need new juice in their backfield, and could be a candidate to select a running back on Day 1 of the draft. Rotoworld's Josh Norris mocked the Panthers LSU's Leonard Fournette in his first mock draft last month.

Why shouldn't the Panthers draft at RB? They've already taken years off his career with him power running.

because they need an offensive tackle and a safety and it's probably going to be easier to get a useful running back than either of those two positions.

chad Kelly, Jim Kelly's nephew, was not invited to the combine. Possible reasons

- supposedly threatened to kill his coaches at clemson on the field during spring practice
- charged the field during a brawl at his brother's high school football game
- attacked a bouncer and threatened to return and shoot up the entire bar (disorderly conduct)
- blew out his acl
- is poo poo

Your team has a poo poo rear end running game and no offense outside of Cam. Leonard Fournette has continuously proven to be a special talent when healthy and has the ability to be a bunch of different threats out of the backfield. Get over it.

Who gives a poo poo?

The Panthers don't have a single starting caliber tackle on the roster.

It doesn't matter how great a runner he is if he's having to break two tackles to get out of the backfield.
